Our Mission

Our aim is to get kids off the street and remove the barriers of poverty through boxing, discipline, and community support.

At Kennedys Boxing Club, we believe every young person can turn challenges into strength.

Our head coach, Rik Leach, knows this firsthand. He had a tough start in life, but boxing showed him that discipline, focus, and belief in yourself can change everything.

"Boxing gave me a chance to rewrite my story. Now I want every young person who walks through our doors to find their own path to confidence and success."

— Rik Leach, Head Coach

Rik started Kennedys Boxing Club to make sure kids and teens have a safe, fun, and inspiring place to grow — both in the ring and in life. Our club is about more than punches; it's about teamwork, respect, resilience, and discovering what you're capable of.

"Every kid who comes to the club has something special. My job is to help them see it and bring it out."

— Rik Leach

We have already been competing at high levels, giving our members the chance to experience real success and challenge themselves. Now it's your turn — your chance to take the leap, learn new skills, and see what you can achieve.

We run free community nights every Monday and Wednesday from 6–7pm for ages 5–15, plus a full timetable of classes for all ages and levels. Everyone is welcome, and everyone matters.
