A seasoned professional boxer, dedicated coach, and one of the most respected journeymen in British boxing today. Ricky brings over 160 professional fights and decades of experience to Kennedy's Boxing Club.
The Fighter
Hailing from Westbrook, Kent, Ricky is an orthodox Super Lightweight known for his incredible resilience and work ethic. Standing at 5'8", he has carved out a unique and vital career in the professional ranks.
Ricky is a true "Road Warrior." In the world of professional boxing, he serves as a high-level journeyman—the essential backbone of the sport. His role is to test the next generation of prospects, providing them with the invaluable experience of sharing a ring with a tough and seasoned veteran who is notoriously difficult to stop.
With 80 amateur fights and over 80 professional bouts and hundreds of rounds under his belt, Ricky brings a level of ring generalship that only comes from fighting top-tier talent week in and week out.
From Amateur Success to Professional Grit
Before his professional debut in 2014, Ricky was a standout amateur in Thanet, where he won multiple titles. While the professional scene led him toward the journeyman route, he has never lost the "Slik Rik" style that defined his early career: a blend of technical skill, a sharp jab, and an unbreakable chin.
